Yes, I have mentioned in the past that Pink Rose isn’t the most manly of names for a guys high school senior portrait session, but they will have to get over it. :-). I love photographing seniors. I have found over the last decade the trick to seniors is to become their friend and do it quick. Once you have won the place in their life as a friend, they might open up to you about girls, girlfriends and/or dating. This is always a shoe in on smiles and smirks. Most senior guys don’t love getting their senior photography portraits done. Girls on the other hand….well that’s a different story. Some guys do like it, but typically they don’t. If your son really doesn’t love getting photos taken, I’d opt for the mini session. It’s just 20 minutes and simple. For young men who have a lot of interests, hobbies and are involved with sports and what not, a classic session is the way you want to go. A mini session offers 1 outfit and 20 minutes. A classic session will be up to three outfits, friends for group photos and an hour of shooting.
Conner made my job of senior photography easy. He is so handsome and so incredibly kind. We did these in my back yard in Sandy Utah, but alas I no longer live there.
Thanks for visiting my senior photography blog post. Check out my site for more examples of my work. Give me a call to set up a session. The best time of year to get your seniors portrait session is in the summer and fall. If you haven’t gotten your senior’s pictures done yet this year, I have a few openings I can squeak in on May 12th.
Have a great day!
