Meet Taryn and her sweet family. I met Taryn 32 years ago when we were two years old. We went to preschool together and then reconnected as best friends in sixth grade and stayed that way for the rest of our lives. Taryn is my longest standing friend, outside of family. Her sweet little girl reminded me so much of Taryn and is so bizarre that I am old enough to have a friend for 32 years! As I was photographing her sweet little girl I just kept thinking, “Your mom was your age when we were friends!” Seriously this family. You will find in a lot of my posts that they are of dear and near friends. I have been blessed with many. And if you aren’t a friend and become a client, most likely you will become a friend by the end of your session. That is just the way I operate. The more people, the more friends, the more love I have in my life the better! I love doing lifestyle photographer sessions in the home, especially with a newborn. That is really the only way to do a newborn photo shoot is in the home, where mom and baby can remain comfortable….which will make them happy, which will make for great photos. One thing to remember with Newborn shoots is, they never, and I mean NEVER go fast. I’ve never been able to get what I want in 1 hour. It’s almost always two hours, minimum. That’s the way it goes when you are working on babies time frames. The good thing is, these two parents are some of my most favorite people in the entire world. Sure do love ya Taryn and Josh and your sweet little kids. Thanks for letting me capture these moments for your family!
